




This is essentially a parametric scaffolding/truss-structure generator: add the geometry node to any kind of mesh, and it outputs a structural mesh with beams, joints, tapered pins, bolt-like nuts, and decorative banding. All driven by sliders rather than manual modeling.
Main features:
replaces the edges of your mesh with a tube of adjustable resolution (ranging from a triangular shape to a perfect circle).
each vertice turns into a sphere with a customizable resolution (from cube to sphere)
tapered pin ends (giving you the option to make the ends of your beam thicker/thinner/tapered)
evenly-spaced inset bands along each beam (count, width, depth all adjustable) for a bolted-plate or reinforced-segment look, with clamping logic so insets never overlap the tapered ends
an optional decorative stripe pattern near the pole ends of each beam, with its own width/spacing controls and an option to restrict it to mesh edges marked "Sharp" only
generates a nut (n-gon profile, adjustable radius/depth/taper/offset) at each beam-end/joint connection, automatically flipped 180° depending on whether it's a start or end point
separate material inputs for Beam, Joint, Pin, Nut, Inset, and Stripe — each with its own on/off "use custom material" switch, so you can art-direct each part of the structure independently
a single "Overall Scale" input scales every size-related parameter (radii, depths, widths, offsets) together while preserving proportions — useful for reusing one rig across different truss sizes
includes 4 premade versions
tested with Blender 4.5 (giving an error but worked) but made for Blender 5.0+. Not working with any Blender version below 4.5
