Abbey of the Skies

The painting shows a large abbey on a mountain ridge at sunrise in the land of the eagle. After a series of commissioned works, this was again a larger personal project. I did the modelling in Blender and edited the image in Photoshop as usual. For the landscape I made extensive use of one of my image packs from Saxon Switzerland. I also created a portrait format of the image for printing purposes.
